The Government I.T.I. Jaunpurr was established in 1962 . Now it is imparting training in different
trades at present this institute is giving training lots students . Although this city does not have big industries but we
also implementing apprentice training scheme. Now we are
also given short term training in various stream under MES scheme. This time
the Jaunpur district has Govt. I.T.I And many I.T.C.
Infrastructure :- I.T.I. Jaunpur has its own campus of 15 Acrs. approximate it has one administrative block and workshops hostel etc.
Library :- Institute has a well developed library at this time and developed computer lab also.

MES Cources
These Centres will be providing multiskill training to meet the skill requirement of particular sector of industry with their active involvement in all aspects of training. The training will be provided in three parts as given below:
�� Training in Basic skill areas for a period of one year.
�� Training in Advanced modules for next six months.
MES is to provide vocational training to school leavers, existing workers, ITI graduates, etc. to improve their employability by optimally utilizing the infrastructure available in Govt., private institutions and the Industry. Existing skills of the persons can also be tested and certified under this scheme. * To build capacity in the area of development of competency standards, course curricula, learning material and assessment standards in the country.
